Kick Asthma: Knowledge Forums

Due to CoVid-19 social distancing standards and that safety of our stakeholders, all Kick Asthma: Knowledge Forums are Webinars via zoom.

CAC hosts 2-3 regional educational and networking meetings per year called Kick Asthma: Knowledge Forums. The forums are an opportunity to come together to learn from experts in asthma care, network with colleagues and community members and to share information from asthma related organizations throughout Chicagoland.  

Each forum aims to provide:

  • Education on guidelines-based asthma care
  • Information on cutting-edge topics related to asthma care
  • Opportunities to discuss emerging research findings and future directions in research

Meetings are intended toward a diverse audience of physicians, researchers, nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, community asthma educators, program managers, advocates and patients.

The Chicago Asthma Consortium has shifted its gears due to CoVId and is planning online webinars for their Kick Asthma: Knowledge Forums in 2020.

We still have opportunities for you to be seen and heard via our online webinar platform.  There are so many ways we an acknowledge your organizations and would welcome a call to discuss what is of most interest to you.  Please contact CAC's association manager at info@chicagoasthma.org or 888-268-8334

Seeking Location | Online Hosts

Although we are currently hosting our programs online, we still want to hear from those who are interested in hosting meetings online or at their location in the future.  Location hosts are invited to welcome guests to the webinar and speak to the audience for a few minutes at the beginning of the program.  In person location hosts are asked to meet the following:

  • Space for 50-75 attendees
  • WiFi
  • Audio/Visual capabilities (projector, screen, microphones)
  • Tables for registration and food
  • Space for 3-4 exhibitor tables
