  • Thu, August 19, 2021
  • 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
  • Webinar

Thank you to all our attendees and our panel of speakers who presented an information-packed back-to-school webinar discussing just the facts as schools prepare to go back to face-to-face learning.

Parents of children with asthma returning to school for in-person learning need to take extra steps to prepare for a new school year. It's best to start planning now, during the summer months. This back-to-school webinar had something for everyone to learn: parents, coaches, teachers, nurses, providers, pharmacists, community health workers, and more!

Presentation Objectives:

  • Identify the COVID-19 trends specifically affecting children with asthma and review strategies to protect and support these children during the pandemic
  • Explain how to differentiate between asthma and COVID-19 symptoms
  • Share how asthma management in schools will change given COVID-19
  • Examine and share resources that will help children stay protected and keep their asthma under control so they can safely return to school
  • Open forum to ask questions about asthma, COVID-19, as well as COVID and flu vaccinations. What is the real deal?
