Join us for CAC's Spring 2026 Lunch & Learn series! These days, schedules seem to be more packed than ever; but learning more about asthma management doesn't have to take hours. Each month, February through May at 12:00PM, we'll be hosting a 30-minute, informal Zoom group with an expert in the field of asthma to educate and answer questions around asthma and issues that can affect those living with it.

Lunch and Learn is free and open to all, and designed to be valuable for everyone, from experienced healthcare workers to community members looking to improve their ability to care for themselves and their loved ones.

Janice Henry will be looking at the effect of marijuana and vaping on asthma. Many people think that marijuana can help with asthma. This will be an opportunity to address this myth.

Janice Henry is the Community Health Nurse at The Loretto Hospital. She is a compassionate, conscientious, dedicated professional registered nurse with 30 plus years of nursing service, with a background of providing optimal care in a variety of settings. Specializing in Community Health dedicated to providing and ensuring high standards of culturally competent care for a variety of patients with diverse needs. My goal is to advocate for access to care for everyone, especially persons in communities of color to eliminate health disparities. My community work includes providing health fairs and screenings. I am dedicated to patient education. My work includes collaborating with other health care agencies, elected officials and community partners.
