Join us for CAC's Spring 2024 Lunch & Learn series! These days, schedules seem to be more packed than ever; but learning more about asthma management doesn't have to take hours. On the Third Wednesday of each month at noon, we'll be hosting a 30-minute, informal Zoom group with an expert in the field of asthma to educate and answer questions around asthma and issues that can affect those living with it. Lunch and Learn is free and open to all, and designed to be valuable for everyone, from experienced healthcare workers to community members looking to improve their ability to care for themselves and their loved ones.

Dr. Min Joo, MD, MPH
Professor of Medicine at the University of Illinois Chicago,
Section Chief of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center

Min Joo, MD, MPH is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Illinois Chicago and Section Chief of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in Chicago, IL. She is Associate Head of the UIC Department of Medicine (DOM) Faculty Affairs Council and Co-Chair of the DOM Inclusion Council. Dr. Joo is also a member of the Clinical Algorithms Subcommittee of the Jesse Brown for Black Lives Task Force with a mission to advance health equity by removing the inappropriate use of race in medicine.  She is a board-certified pulmonologist and intensivist and a health services researcher with a focus on obstructive lung disease.
