The Policy Forum is funded, in part, by the Illinois Department of Public Health. All are welcome to attend this free event. Past attendees of this event have included physicians, researchers, policy experts, community health workers, asthma advocates, architects, tenants’ rights experts, community development professionals, nurses and representatives from local and national patient advocacy organizations.
This event is free of charge for all participants and includes a continental breakfast and boxed lunch.
Review the legislative landscape to understand existing asthma policy efforts and key players.
Explore innovative and evidence-based policy efforts underway since 2015 that support asthma management within schools, homes and health systems.
Identify collaborative opportunities to support asthma management policies within schools, homes, health systems and environment
